Senlac 20, 2100 and 40 These steel sections would generally be used for new build, heritage, conservation work or to match existing installations. Admirably suited to replacement projects where English Heritage or the Local Authority Officers requirements are “a like for like” renewal scheme. Accommodating sealed glass units up to an overall thickness of 16mm for Senlac 20, 24mm for Senlac 2100 and 26.8mm for Senlac 40. A double glazed glass unit manufactured using a low E glass and with a suitable gas filled cavity will comply with the current Part ‘L’ Building Control requirements. Double glazed glass units can also be manufactured incorporating Georgian bars or lead cames giving the desired design effect. Bars can be applied externally and/or internally as required.
Senlac PB, IB and Fire These profiles would normally be considered for prestige developments where a superior performance, higher thermal values up to 1.5W/m²K, acoustic requirements and large pane size or if an increased thickness double glazed glass unit is required. These profiles are suitable for heavy traffic doors, security entrance screens with or without entry systems. Senlac Fire These profiles are for all applications where fire resisting glazing is a requirement and anything from 30 minutes integrity up to 60 minutes integrity/60 minutes insulation can be achieved with suitable glass combinations to achieve design requirements.
